Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: 1st January 2025

This Cancellation Policy outlines the conditions under which Indian Super Bike League ("ISBL") allows cancellation of services, registrations, and event-related participation. Please read this policy carefully before making any payments or commitments.

1. Rider Registration

All payments made towards Rider Registration for ISBL are non-refundable and non-transferable. Once a payment is confirmed, it cannot be reversed or claimed for cancellation under any circumstances, including:

  • Change of mind

  • Failure to secure a spot in the Rider Roster

  • Non-selection for team franchises

  • Personal scheduling conflicts


2. Event Cancellation by ISBL

In the rare event that ISBL is forced to cancel or postpone an event due to operational or regulatory issues, participants will be:

  • Notified via email, phone, or SMS

  • Given alternate scheduling options (if available)

  • Provided with a voucher or credit note valid for participation in future ISBL events (subject to availability and management approval)

Refunds will not be issued, even in the case of ISBL-initiated cancellation.


3. Force Majeure

ISBL is not liable for failure to perform or for delays in performance due to:

  • Natural disasters

  • Government restrictions

  • Pandemics or public health emergencies

  • Acts of terrorism or civil unrest

  • Other events beyond our reasonable control

In such cases, ISBL is under no obligation to refund fees or reschedule the event. However, the organization will make best efforts to notify registered participants in a timely manner and offer alternate arrangements wherever feasible.


4. Rider-Initiated Withdrawal

If a rider voluntarily chooses to withdraw:

  • After payment but before the roster is finalized: No refund.

  • After roster is finalized but before event: No refund and removal from the event.

  • After event participation begins: Disqualification and ineligibility for future seasons without refund.


5. Communication and Exceptions

All cancellation-related communication must be submitted in writing to [Insert ISBL Email Address]. Exceptions to this policy are rare and are reviewed solely at the discretion of ISBL’s senior management.


6. Governing Law

This policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from cancellations will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Pune, Maharashtra.
